Can we know about God , as well, from nature or other religions? What about God’s being or character? What does it mean that Jesus was born of a virgin and both fully human and fully God? And what about the Holy Spirit? What is the role of the Spirit in the Christian life? What are the gifts of the Spirit? These are key questions asked about the Christian worldview by both Christians and non-believers, which form the core of our faith. Designed to develop a deeper knowledge of your faith, and be more equipped to share it with family and friends.

For a number of years, the ALPHA Course has been used at NSCBC and throughout the world as a tool for bringing people to Christ, discipling them in the basic Christian worldview, and tying them into churches. Nicky Gumbel, who teaches the course on film, is a masterful communicator who can make Christian basics clear to audiences from both churched and un-churched backgrounds. This will be an abbreviated version of the course. Also a great overview of the Christian faith for any believer, and a meaningful gateway into greater participation in this critical ministry in the church in the future.

All high school students and any of their parents are invited to join. Studying the book of James together and memorizing verses. Weekly competitions between parents and students, with prizes to see who can memorize more! A great opportunity to discuss and learn practical truth from the book of James.
