Connecting Luncheon

One Sunday per month, after second service, we host lunch for any interested students. Enjoy a homemade meal, meet people and find out more about the church. Van transport will be provided after lunch. Fall 2010 lunch dates are September 12, October 24, and November 14.

Small Groups

We offer a variety of small groups with varied age, gender and topic groupings. Small groups focus on community, discipleship and outreach.

Service Projects

Students are challenged to serve the church body as well as the local community through projects big and small.

Retreat

The College Ministry goes on retreat each fall. Get away from school, reconnect with God and grow spiritually with brothers and sisters in Christ.

The Student Leadership Team provides important student leadership and insight into the Ministry and serves to develop the student's leadership ability.  (Applications will be available to interested upperclassmen in March.)

Opportunities for Ministry around the church

If you are a college student looking to get plugged into another ministry in the church where you can use your gifts we would love to serve you by showing you open doors so you can be where God wants you to be!  Why?  

Because one of our core values as a ministry is to demonstrate to students that while college is amazing and there are tons of collegiate activities to be involved in, serving in a local church body will bless you and bless others immensely and it will help you develop a great life habit!

College students are currently serving as Sunday School Teachers, Ushers, nursery workers, Friday Footsteps volunteers, Toddler Worship helpers, choir members, and more!  We would LOVE LOVE LOVE to help you get connected!  For more information on how to get plugged in, contact Laura at LauraERange@aol.com.

Current Opportunities to Serve:

Children's Worship:  During the 8am and 11am services, children between 4 years old – 2nd grade leave the sanctuary to attend their own children’s worship time.  It is a special time where children can worship God together by singing songs, listening to a Bible story, reflecting, praying and giving of their offering.  So come and worship with our young children and serve as a greeter or a storyteller in our children’s worship program.  For more information and to be scheduled please contact Kerri O’Connor at 978-356-5374 or aockoc@verizon.net.   Thanks! 

Infant Ministry:  The Infant Ministry at NSCBC is in need of new teachers! Come minister to the tiniest people in our church body (and their parents) through showing God's love in word and deed. Commitment would be one service per month, with the flexibility of serving during the 8am service, 11am service, or Sunday School hour.
