What Should You Expect When You Visit Our Church?
if you have kids...
When you get onto the campus, we’d suggest trying to park in one of the visitor parking spaces near the main entrance. You will be greeted at the door by one of our greeters who can direct you to the correct spot for your child. And if you’re concerned about your child’s safety...relax. A childcare worker can fill you in on our extensive safety measures. Children’s programming is available at the 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM services and, during the school year, at our 9:30 AM education hour.
what to wear...Some of our people dress up and some don't. We are not concerned about what you wear to church. relax. We want you to feel comfortable in whatever you wear and to focus on God and the worship theme for the day.
a personal touch...We love meeting new people. That’s why we invite guests to come to the Welcome Center in the Lobby before or after the service. This gives you a chance to have your questions answered, to receive relevant information about the church and receive a simple gift from us. We won’t hound you or embarrass you...we’d just like to introduce ourselves and get to know you a little better.
worship...keep your wallet in your pocket...The church takes an offering each week in its worship services. While you are welcome to participate in the vision of the church through our offering, we don’t want you to feel any sense of obligation to do so. Our worship blends various musical styles and practices — some very new and some very old. We try to reflect the range of worship practices found in the Bible and the history of the Church.
